Job Description

The successful candidate will join the SIA Information Technology Division and be part of a dynamic and fast paced environment that is responsible for digitalizing key business processes in supply chain, aircraft maintenance - covering Aircraft Engineering & Maintenance, Logistics and Procurement business units. The candidate will work on building and managing IT solutions across a spectrum of technologies – from mission critical systems to mobile apps, predictive maintenance, supply chain planning & optimization - founded on an end-to-end process design, a data-driven, digital mindset and delivered using Agile Methodologies.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Engage business stakeholders to understand their requirements.
* Design IT solutions that meet business objectives, digitalize key operational processes and drive digital ops.
* Build and manage IT solutions to transform airline or Aircraft engineering operations in line with the Ops Digital Roadmap.
* Work with technology, business units and relevant functional managers to ensure that IT solutions are aligned to the digital Enterprise Architecture and IT Application roadmap.
* Manage the overall delivery of the product backlog based on Agile methodology. Track and improve product metrics and report to BU steering committees.
* Ensure prompt resolution of IT issues and minimize impact to airline operations.
* Monitor the technology roadmap for periodic upgrades and work with respective business users to implement changes required.
* Track and identify innovative applications and technologies for potential adoption by business.
* Any relevant ad-hoc duties.
* This is an individual contributor role.
* Note: You could be posted to any subsidiary in SIA Group.

Eligibility

For Ground Staff

* Non-Specialists: Minimum 2 years in current role, subject to meeting the requirements below.
* Specialists: Minimum 2 years in current role and minimum 5 years in current function, subject to meeting the requirements below.
* If you are successful, this will be considered a lateral transfer.

For Non-Ground Staff

* Subject to meeting the requirements below.

Requirements

* Degree in Information Technology or related fields.
* Certified Scrum Master highly desirable
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with proven track record in IT project delivery based on Agile methodologies.
* Proven track record in designing complex, mission critical applications that meet or exceed operational metrics for scalability, security, compliance, performance and quality is required.
* Experience in the following areas is preferred:
- Mobilizing enterprise applications using iOS.
- Cloud Technologies and Deployment.
* Will have an advantage if there is experience in driving development team.
* Proven problem-solving, communication and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a highly skilled team.
