JMC are working with a global engine support provider, who are currently looking to recruit several Certifying Engineers (Engine) on a permanent (direct hire) basis to support with the expansion of its team in Holland. As a Certifying Engineer, you will carry out engine servicing and maintenance tasks in accordance with the appropriate technical instructions and/or approved maintenance data.

Within this role you will be assigned engine (Trent 700, T1000 and/or Trent XWB) tasks in such a way to meet the quality and airworthiness expectations of the company and customer.

The Certifying Engineers (Engines) will be required to undertake the below additional responsibilities:

• To carry out engine servicing (Trent 700, T1000 and/or Trent XWB) and maintenance tasks in accordance with the appropriate technical instructions and/or approved maintenance data.
• To co-ordinate with other sections for the timely supply of parts, equipment and specialized personnel to support the assigned engine maintenance tasks.
• To satisfy him / her through self-inspection that the primary objective of the job has been met for each task performed.

The successful Certifying Engineers (Engines) will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills, training and attributes:

• Educated to a minimum Level 3 standard in Aviation Engineering (Apprenticeship, Diploma, Vocational School Diploma)
• 2 years of Aeronautical experience in the field of aviation maintenance including at least 12 months of practical experience in the specific engine (Trent 700, T1000 and/or Trent XWB) maintenance area / Workshop;
• 3 years in the field of aviation maintenance for complex components such as engine/APU and Landing gears including 24 Months of practical experience in the specific component maintenance area / Workshop
• Documented Theoretical and practical engine (Trent 700, T1000 and/or Trent XWB) training received from either a OEM, OEM recognised training organisation or another appropriately recognised organisation
