Senior Crew Planning Officer

Role Summary
To make robust, efficient plans to ensure crew members arrive at company aircraft in good time to operate scheduled flights on time.
Assist and deputize for the Crew Planning Controller.
Responsibilities
Support the Crew Planning Controller to produce zero risk rosters which are efficient safe and compliant.
Deputies for the Crew Planning Controller as and when required.
Prepare and implement a plan for all recurrent and initial line training for all crew. Ensure that the plan complies with procedures and deadlines
Responsible for ensuring the mid-term crew plan is prepared and completed.
Manage route changes and plan new routes (crewing, positioning and back-ups) effectively.
Assist with the preparation of forthcoming Rosters.
Ensure all electronic (PDC) and paper folders are maintained and correct at all times – training coordinator, no longer stored in PDC as moved to EFOS
Prepare and liaise with OCC to provide a robust weekly handover.
Highlight any FTL or work agreement conflicts and ensure these are managed effectively.
Manage all training paperwork to ensure all files are up to date and complete – training coordinator
Ensure regular reports are run for qualification expiry and training needs to enable any training to be identified and planned
Ensure all work carried out is within specified procedures and compliant with all relevant regulations and legislation.
Spray crew allocation and notification
Compliance monitoring
Manage leave requirement for flight crew
Crew planning safety investigator
Academic/Educational Requirements
Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent
Required Skills/Experience/knowledge:
Minimum of 3 years Aviation and/or Administration experience.
Experience in an airline crewing environment is essential.
Excellent IT skills specifically Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Possess professional, friendly and customer-focused personality.
Proactive, confident, self-starter.
Proven Planning & Organisation and problem solving skills.
Effective interpersonal skills; adaptable to all levels of the organization.
Able to work independently, taking the initiative and with little supervision.
Ability to work to strict deadlines.
Attention to detail & quality minded.
Salary: £26,520
