Aircraft Mechanic

JMC are working with an MRO company based in Heathrow, looking to recruit a new Aircraft Mechanic to join their team.

This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Heathrow, on a 5/5/4 shift pattern, working 14:00 - 02:00

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to complete routine and non-routine maintenance tasks.

Other Duties Involve

• Observing and adhering to the company tooling policy at all times
• Maintaining awareness and ensuring best practices are observed for health and safety and human factors
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed to the required standards and in line with the MOE
• Raising a safety report on identifying nay hazard or the following of an incident
• Notifying the company of any significant findings as soon as possible

In order to be successful in this role the Aircraft Mechanic will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

Have a recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar 

Hold the right to work in UK
