Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Evidence Based Training Section under the Flight Operations Training & Standards (FOTS) department. He/She will be responsible to manage and progressively deliver the new Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR) project by working with various internal & external stakeholders (e.g. SIA and NUS) to ensure that requirements are fulfilled to achieve a successful outcome within the project timeline.

This is a 2-years contract position with the possibility for full-time conversion.

Key
Responsibilities includes:

- To coordinate and facilitate discussions between internal and external stakeholders (including vendors) for effective communication and partnership

- To steer and manage project activities and deliverables that are in alignment with SIA’s crew training goals to ensure that milestones are achieved within timeline

- To manage the workstreams for the project initiatives with business units and IT, from the preparation of user requirements to issues escalation, testing and product delivery, using the Agile Scrum Methodology

- To lead in customising and developing the AR/VR training programme that NUS has developed for SIA and to make adjustments that will cater to the crew training needs

- Identify and implement system enhancements to improve user performance and usability for training purposes

- Developing and tracking the measures for the AR/VR training programme and reporting the progress and outcomes to FOTS management, towards achieving SIA’s crew training goals.

Required Skills
& Qualifications

- Possess a university bachelor's degree, preferably in IT, gaming development, computer science, computer engineering
- At least 2 years’ experience in machine learning operations
- Experience in gaming engine software is preferred
- Able to manage projects using Agile Methodology
- Knowledge in cloud architecture (e.g. Nvdia Cloud)
- Familiarity with flight simulator, flying operations and training environment will be advantageous
