Quality Engineer/Deputy Quality Manager - UAE

Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking an experienced Quality professional within the aviation sector for a highly prestigious company based in the UAE on a permanent basis to start in the coming months.

We are are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer or Deputy Quality Manager to join our customer to support ongoing quality management tasks for the continued successful operation of their fleet of rotary aircraft - not only will you be carrying out day to day tasks expected as a QAE, you will also play a role in continued improvement across all maintenance and engineering activities.

Some of the key responsibilities will involve:

• Assisting the QM with preparation for GCAA audits
• Development of the company audit programme
• Updating of the company quality manual where necessary
• Assisting with internal audits
• Maintaining quality records and manuals

The ideal candidate will have proven experience within an aviation based Quality department, preferably within rotary maintenance, however this will not be essential.  A good working knowledge of EASA, UK CAA or GCAA regulations will be required as will a solid understanding and familiarity with ISO standards and audit processes.

In return you can expect a package starting at around £52k basic salary per year TAX FREE, with accommodation provided, education allowance, private healthcare and return flights for you and your family.  For those already working at a more senior level, we are able to consider some negotiation to increase the salary offered.
