We are actively seeking for a Certifying Staff Cat. B2 to reinforce our Maintenance Team.

The Certifying Staff B2 performs maintenance tasks in line and base maintenance projects and in AOG events, on aircraft types and components as per Jetfly Technik scope of work, as project supervisor or supporting staff.

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Plan and organize team and tools for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events
  • Troubleshoot aircraft avionic systems based on pilots’ information and flight test data
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks based on related workorders
  • Assemble, install and test complex avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft
  • Ensure that all aircraft avionics equipment and systems work properly
  • Keep track and detailed records of all work performed on the aircraft in the maintenance management system (AMOS)
  • Communicate with the other related departments and staff

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • Human Factors initial / refresher
  • EASA Part 145 initial / refresher
  • EWIS initial / refresher
  • Fuel tank safety initial / refresher

EVALUATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Good knowledge of EASA Regulation (EU) Part 145 regulations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • EASA Part 66 B2 Licence with/without Type-Rating

SPECIFIC TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE: 

  • Pilatus PC12 / PC24 type rating or general familiarization training would be an asset
  • Previous work experience in Business Aviation would be an advantage

PERSONALITY AND SKILLS:

  • Team player
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate team members
  • Working accurately with good organizational skills
  • Analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Well organized and structured, with focus on quality and cost
  • Able to work and interact with various departments and contact persons
  • Willingness for occasional travel

LANGUAGES:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • German or French would be an advantage

IT KNOWLEDGE:

  • MS Office Applications
  • AMOS experience would be an advantage

European work permit is mandatory.
