Dubai-based Emirates has announced plans to hire 1,500 new pilots by the end of 2026, with 550 set to join in 2025 alone. As part of the campaign, the airline is running a series of global pilot recruitment roadshows, with the UK leg happening this July, including stops at Edinburgh, Birmingham, Stansted, and Gatwick.
The hiring push includes four distinct programs: Direct Entry Captains, Accelerated Command, First Officers Type Rated, and First Officers Non-Type Rated.
With a growing fleet of Airbus A350s and Boeing 777s, Emirates is scaling fast and putting a significant emphasis on pilot experience, progression, and long-term growth.
