10 reasons you should go to Pilot Expo 2026

Pilot Expo 2026 takes place in Brussels this February 20-21. This is the largest event of its kind in Europe and gives flight crew and aspiring flight crew the perfect opportunity to find out more about how to take that next step in their career. Here’s just 10 reasons why you should consider attending Pilot Expo 2026.

1. It remains Europe’s largest aircrew recruitment event

Pilot Expo has grown into the biggest dedicated aircrew careers event in Europe. The scale of the event attracts some of the largest aviation companies and airlines in the world to the SkyHall venue overlooking the runways of Brussels Airport and offers flight crew, cabin crew and other aviation professionals a hands-on opportunity to explore new employment prospects.

2. Some of the largest airlines will be there

Large carriers such as Emirates, Etihad, Lufthansa, ASL, Cargolux, Avincis, Wizz and Ryanair will be there to help attendees understand their options and what benefits they offer. This is the best opportunity to actually talk to the people who work there and ask any questions you have, whether it’s about working there or their recruitment process.

3. Speak directly to the recruiters

Pilot Expo stands out because it’s specifically a recruitment event. Not only are the largest airlines there, but you will be talking to the actual recruiters, decision makers and your peers, rather than simply being redirected to their recruitment website.

4. Dedicated two-day conference talks

As well as the trade show, there will be a series of two-day conferences; Aces for licensed and experienced pilots, and Future Pilots for aspiring aviators at the beginning of their journey. There will also be Tech Masters, a series of talks especially for aircraft maintenance and engineering professionals. Dozens of speakers are already lined up with CEOs, pilots, talent directors and more all giving talks.

5. Engineers are properly represented for the first time

Pilot Expo 2026 marks a meaningful expansion beyond flight crew. Engineers now have a dedicated presence, with airlines and maintenance organisations attending to speak with licensed engineers, trainees, and those considering the technical route. For engineers, this creates a rare chance to explore opportunities without attending a general careers fair where aviation is only a small part of the focus.

6. Flight schools and pilot academies will be there too

It’s not just airlines. Some of the biggest and best flight schools such as FTEJerez and Bristol Groundschool will be there. Airline-specific pilot academies will also be there, such as Wizz Air Pilot Academy and Etihad Training Academy. This means you can discuss entry requirements, expected timelines and type-specific training routes without visiting numerous open days spread across different countries.

7. Aviation recruitment agencies will be in attendance

Agencies representing some of the largest airlines in the world will be there including Nobox and Resource Group. These agencies are a great option because they can offer independent advice and do a lot of the job hunting for you, plus also help support you once you get a placement.

8. Entry is free for industry professionals

Free access for those already working in aviation encourages attendance from experienced crew, engineers, and instructors. That raises the overall quality of discussion on the floor, as conversations include people who understand line operations, technical requirements, and regulatory constraints. For job seekers, this means advice comes from peers as well as recruiters.

9. The after party is the perfect networking opportunity

The official Airliners’ Party takes place on the Friday night between the two exhibition days. It’s an informal event and a good opportunity to continue conversations with like-minded aviation professionals and enjoy good music and drinks in a fantastic venue.

10. Easy to get to

This year’s Pilot Expo once again takes place in SkyHall Brussels Airport, a modern event space overlooking the runways located between the two main piers of the airport. This makes it incredibly easy to get to, whether you’re flying in for the day or staying nearby.

Pilot Expo 2026 takes place at SkyHall Brussels Airport on 20-21 February 2026 and tickets are now available on the Pilot Expo website. Entry is free for airline employees (with valid airline ID), 20€ for the trade shows and entry to the Airliners’ Party, and 45€ for an all inclusive package including trade show, party and the conferences.
