Ensuring the correct packaging of physical assets and resolving issues
Update ERCs where required on assets within AOR
Ensuring RDDs are met for personal area of responsibility
Liaising with all required agencies, including the Forward A/C Team Trade Controllers, ML2 bays, Supply Chain, GSS, Forward and Depth Docs Controllers, TSC, BDIT and third party suppliers to support correct preparation of asset
Ability to check, for incoming S assets returning from OEM or depot, whether there are outstanding SI(T)s, Arisings or Deferments (Concessions) and address accordingly
Feeding back any changes in the customer's requirements and any new capability/issues that become evident
Researching problems and issues and gathering information from various sources and communicating it to the relevant stakeholders.
Knowledge of IMS Business Processes and the interaction between those processes
Understanding of the SMS and ability both to raise and respond to SMS issues (eg MEMS actions)
Recognise when an SE requires to be raised and enact
Understand when to and have the correct authorisations to re-categorise assets
Ensuring accurate recording on Asset Registers
ESS Skills and Knowledge:
Ensuring that assets have the correct lifing and verifying there are only acceptable discrepancies between the ERCs and ESS.
Understand on and off aircraft arisings, SI(T)s and/or Deferments (Concessions) in terms of their applicability for S assets returning from OEM or Depot with outstanding issues
Understand Build standards / compatibility of assets/sub components.
Have the understanding of when to Abort open, unused EWOs and enact that requirement
Able to identify Specific Life Metrics and requirements for all Assets.
Create assets using supplied documentation.
Change serviceability status of asset (eg to R2, R4)
Carry out RPIT Conversion activities.
An ability to accurately work with data and carry out assessments of data anomalies
Ability to raise DCR Annex A's when data is incorrect, not available or has discrepancies.
Ability to raise SEs, QOR's (F791), Narrative reports (F760)
Ability to interrogate Resolve for SE Data, MODs, SI (T)s etc
Ability to 'Turn in' assets and make 'RFI' where required as per Quality Inbound checks
Recognise requirement to and 'batch close' work packs following asset return from OEM if required
Ability to defer and clear historic tasks
Ability to update and amend Life Metrics on Main Assemblies and Child Assets.
Ability to utilise and understand TrilogiView
Understand and able to identify correct 2R1 Leaflets for subject matter advice.
In depth knowledge of ESS (6 months minimum experience)
In depth knowledge of IMS/Maintenix
Comprehensive understanding/use of MS Office and use of Sharepoint
Awareness of the Regulatory Framework and relationship between the Pt M and Pt 145 environments
Be able to work shifts as requested by Team Lead (S Asset Gateway only)
Typhoon experience - especially armament based
Mk16A Ejection Seat Training
Awareness of PEP build/management and deployed ESS operations
WOME & Fire Arm Regulations Training
Knowledge of the end-to-end process for S and U/S assets and their interfaces
