Job Title: Stores Technician

Salary:Up to €29,000 per annum dependent upon experience

Location: Waterford, Republic of Ireland

An opportunity has become available to join an approved Part 145 MRO as a Stores Technician at the companies facility in Waterford, Republic of Ireland. The company specialises in developing new repairs for aircraft components via Part 21J design and has a full range of C- ratings as well as a CAA BCAR approved aerospace welding workshop. They provide component repairs to a wide range of aircraft operators including Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, ATR and Bombardier. The company offers solutions on reliability problems, reducing delays, lowering operator and FHA providers stock holding requirements, associated administration and costs.

Reporting to the Stores Team Leader, the primary purpose of the job will be to manage all aspects of the timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing parts and aircraft components in order to meet customer service levels to standard and on time.

This is a permanent position working Monday- Friday, 8.00am- 4.30pm. There is overtime available.

Main Responsibilities:

•Receive all incoming goods in line with Company standards and operating procedures

•Visually inspect all incoming goods and materials for physical damage and appropriate documentation

•Accept aircraft components and materials in accordance with internal IT system requirements (Aerotrac).

•Log all incoming goods and aircraft components on the internal IT systems (Aerotrac)

•Ensure rejected goods and parts are quarantined and labelled, and that the Team Leader is informed about the discrepant condition, so corrective action shall be initiated

•Meet all Customs procedures and processes to comply with UK and Global Legislation

•Ensure that all material certificates are properly filed and materials are properly stored, and that material is kept linked to the supplier source

•Issue approved parts, materials, special tooling to the Workshop Technicians and that that it is accompanied with the appropriate documentation

•Ensure that all outgoing aircraft components are packed for distribution in the agreed packing boxes and materials

•Maintain accurate inventory using computerised systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.

•Ensure that material is removed from store before it's due to expire

•Adheres to all Company standard operating procedures

•Adheres to all health and safety procedures

•Meets Stores quality and housekeeping standards

•Ensures all activity and works delivered meets the Company quality standards

•Ensures all administration and systems inputs meets agreed standards

About You:

•Ideally, the successful candidate will have Stores experience in the Aviation Sector.

•IT literate with the ability to use Word and Excel and a willingness to learn an industry software package (Aerotrac).

•The individual will be a team player, willing to learn, disciplined, with an eye for detail and a self-starter.
