Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for a Senior Quality System Specialist (level 4) based out of Renton, WA.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and diverse team. In this Quality Liaison role, you will coordinate and collaborate with Service Engineering and In-Service investigation teams to address Service Requests from our customers/operators, to make the Quality Management System at the company stronger, and to help produce and continually improve safe and reliable products that meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements. This role directly aligns with corrective actions that define, align, manage, integrate, and improve Quality in our build processes to ensure customer, and regulatory satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:

• Review analytical systems and databases for Quality reports and distribute to responsible groups for follow on action.
• Coordinate with completed records, service engineering, leadership, RQSO, production teams and In-service Investigation teams.
• Conducts research, compiles, and analyzes documents for related nonconformance history, engineering requirements, service documents (Service Bulletin, Service Letter, Fleet Team Digest), Continued Operational Safety Program, and ARL records.
• Performs project management for individual service requests and responses. Ensures timely and accurate responses to Boeing teams and Airline customers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in a fast-paced environment. Ensures deadlines are adhered to and replanned appropriately.
• Ensure root cause and corrective action performed is adequate and in-line with customer and leadership expectations.
• Regularly works in BCS, REDARS, IVT, CMES, Microsoft Suite and is proficient in their application.
• Conducts in a professional and respectful manner when interacting with Boeing and airline customer teams.

This position is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Renton, WA.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS).
• 3+ years of experience utilizing different communication materials (e.g., proposals, papers, user guides, reports, articles, promotional materials, brochures, web sites, presentations, speeches) to satisfy a variety of customer requirements and environments.
• 3+ years of experience with Redars drawing and process specification understanding.
• 1+ year of experience with (CMES) Common Manufacturing Execution System.
• 1+ year of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, summarizing findings, developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action of non-conformances
• 5 years of Aircraft Build experience
• Customer Service experience
• BCS program understanding

• BDS (Vector) program understanding

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $107,100-$144,900
