About the opportunity My client are a leading manufacturer of high performance rotating equipment and they are looking for a Senior Development Engineer to manage technical investigations and develop new product solutions.
The main objective of the Development Engineer is to improve overall motor performance through developing test systems, processes and methodologies.
You will translate these concepts into useable prototypes for Testing and Verification and translating concepts developed on the Dyno into real world production solutions.
Deliverables - Leading technical Investigations, Testing and Analysis
- Perform Root Cause Analysis using tools such as Five Whys, 8D, Fishbone etc.
- Develop test plans, build prototype machines, draw conclusions and feed back improvements and ideas into the Design and Manufacturing teams
Person Requirements - Knowledge and application of high performance electrical machines and rotating equipment
- Ability to lead product development and technical investigations
- Good understanding of investigation techniques – Root Cause, FMEA, 8D etc.
