Regional MRO Manager - Corporate/Private Aircraft

Excel have been asked to find a Regional MRO Manager for the one of the world’s leading private jet charter and management company, responsible for overseeing third party maintenance operations at their maintenance hub in Paris Le Bourget.

Reporting to the Director of Maintenance Operations the person will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of mission ready aircraft from various maintenance, modifications and upgrade packages, acting as the conduit between the third-party Part 145 maintenance providers and our client’s Maintenance Operation Department.
You will need to ensure that all SLAs are met or exceeded through close co-operation with internal and external maintenance, planning and logistics teams while also ensuring cost control, internal safety and compliance requirements are adhered to closely.
You will also be expected to devise and implement various initiatives to improve efficiency wherever possible by forming professional relationships with the Part 145, suppliers, vendors and airport operators while ensuring performance and delivery goals are consistently met.
You will also have supply chain oversight including direct responsibility for certain suppliers and where necessary may be asked to provide input and assistance to other Regional Maintenance Service Hubs.

To be considered for this position you must have at least 7 years of experience of working in an aircraft maintenance environment with a particular focus on delivery, compliance and safety.
You will need to have worked at a management level with oversight across multiple aspects of aircraft maintenance and be able to show that you have worked closely with various stakeholders to provide integrated maintenance packages to inspire confidence and trust at all levels, from technicians on the shopfloor to aircraft owners and operators.
This role also requires good levels of English and French language; any previous experience with maintenance audits, corporate and private aircraft and management/oversight of 3rd party maintenance companies and facilities would be an advantage but are not essential.
