The Opportunity

Leonardo UK have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Leader role to join our growing team within the Future Combat Air (FCA) Line of Business. Who are responsible in the delivery of the costing and estimating requirements that we have on the Future Combat Air System Programme, working in close collaboration with MoD and industrial partners.

In order to support the ongoing reporting of the programme Leonardo UK are required to provide detailed financial reporting and estimating to help provide MoD with budgetary expectations and confidence in our ability to execute the programme effectively.

What you will do

The role will require the individual to work in a highly collaborative environment both within Leonardo UK across our sites and with our industrial partners. The role is responsible for the consolidation, interpretation and analyse of our costing data. Ensuring accuracy and compliance to contractual pricing principles to support our financial reporting responsibilities and timelines. You will be expected to work closely within the integrated project team and provide expertise and assistance to our Work Package Leads in understanding the cost drivers and contribute to driving efficiencies to increase affordability.

* Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required:
* Excellent Numerical and Analytical skills
* Strong Microsoft Excel experience
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong communication skills with a challenging mind-set
* Proactive in approach
* Ability to re-prioritise to meet key deadlines
* Focus on high quality output and support
* SAP experience advantageous
* You will be an enthusiastic individual, eager to do the job and excited about the projects/contracts you will be working with.
