Boeing Brazil is seeking a Mid-Career Avionics Modifications Engineer, reporting to the Avionics Manager, working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos office.
The Mid-Career Avionics Modifications Engineer will work with the Boeing Global Services Avionics team to support the development and certification of modifications on transport category airplanes.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
This position will require occasional national and/or international travel.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
Must have a degree in Engineering.
Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
Professional experience in aviation.
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
Experience with Avionics Architecture
Experience with Part 25 TC and STC processes
Experience with TSO process
Experience with qualification testing activities
