Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced EASA/UK CAA Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1) to join our team in Goulburn, NSW. If you're proactive, flexible, and eager to succeed, you're the ideal candidate for us.

Your role

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Line maintenance and heavy maintenance of aircraft - i.e. dismantling, inspecting, testing, and repairing various aircraft systems, including airframe and engine;
  • Assembling parts and sub-assemblies of aircraft structure;
  • Conducting routine servicing of aircraft, including component replacements and fluid servicing; 
  • Conducting routine pre-flight inspections of engines and propellors, aircraft mechanical systems and structure; 
  • Ensuring that all maintenance carried out is certified correctly, IAW CASA regulations.
  • Replacement of mechanical components, including hydraulic actuators, engines and components, landing gear and flight controls; 
  • Executing post-repair functional tests
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with technical documentation.

The essential requirements

  • Must meet the 417 VISA criteria – age and participating country requirements.
  • EASA/UK CAA Licensed Aircraft Engineer with at least one type rating and 6 in 24 months certifying experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience, demonstrating high skill levels and competency.
  • Experience on Dash 8 100 / 200/ 300/ 400Q, ATR 42/72, SAAB 340 (or similar types);
  • Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components; 
  • Ability to follow supervisory direction;
  • Ability to obtain a Red ASIC card (no record of criminal offenses).
  • Ability to pass DAMP testing and Medical.
  • Strong team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Consistently positive and proactive attitude.
  • Passion for maintaining safe work practices.
  • Current Driver's license convertible upon arrival.
  • Available to start ASAP.

Shifts

Shifts will be primarily Monday to Friday day shifts, with some possible weekend shifts.
