Financial Planning & Analyst– Labour, Opex & Reporting

Swissport, a global leader in aviation services, is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated individual for a critical role within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing internal and group analysis and reporting packs for key stakeholders, owning the labour cost analysis on a monthly basis, providing analytical support, cost management, and value-added reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing timely analysis for internal stakeholders as well as per Group requirements (SMR, Preflash, CEO Pack, 5 Maps, One offs).
• Serving as the single point of contact for labour cost analysis and reporting to support pay negotiations, month-end labour accruals/cost control, influence key stakeholders, and handle ad hoc requests.
• Supporting the UK&I Forecast and Budget process including system input and extract and creating Analysis packs.
• Analysing and understanding the operating expenses cost base and making recommendations on efficiencies/cost control recommendations.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to manage competing demands to tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills – ability to develop strong working relationships.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Financial Systems.
• Able to communicate effectively to different functions and all levels of the business.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to deal with ambiguity/partial information.

Experience/Education:

• Ideally, degree educated in a numerical or business-related subject.
• Qualified Accountant.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Experience of a large, multi-site business.
• Experience of a low margin/high volume contract environment is desirable but not essential.
