B1/B2 Licensed Engineer - Mobile Service Team

Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking a B1 or B2 licensed engineer for a role working with our clients new mobile service team.  Our client are the largest independant Biz jet operator in the UK and have been going from stength to strength over the last few years.  

The MST role will be working as part of a small team whilst retaining some autonomy of your own day and never being in the same place each day.  Giving you good variety to your working say aswell as working on some of the worlds most prestigious aircraft.

• / Position: B1/2 Licenced Engineer
• / Location: UK South, Field-Based
• / Working Hours: 5-5-4 Shift Pattern, 7am-7pm

/ Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Line Scheduled and Unscheduled/AOG service delivery/certification to exceed our client’s expectations while remaining in compliance with  Group policies and procedures
• Working as part of a small team and individually with responsibility to co-ordinate Line and AOG events to conclusion
• Responsible for ensuring that the allocated MST vehicle is always properly provisioned, clean, and ready for service prior to leaving shift

/ Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:

Essential

• Hold an unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 Licence Category B1 or B2 with at least one aircraft type rating
• Previous aircraft Line/Base maintenance experience, preferably including AOG and mobile support
• Completed a recognised apprenticeship or degree in Aeronautical Engineering
• Working knowledge of Aviation regulatory framework
• Extensive experience of aircraft maintenance and operations standards and practices
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Holds a valid Passport and UK Driving Licence
• Flexible and able to travel at short notice
