We are seeking a full time B1/B2 or B1 Certifying Engineer to join our dedicated Capability Development Team in Prestwick.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Support Manager, this role will be responsible for line maintenance to support maintenance and/or rectification of our King Air 200 and 300 aircraft, and any other Company aircraft types as required.

The role’s key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Support the day-to-day running of the Maintenance Organisations Line Station, ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements.
• Completion and certification of work packs and work order task cards assigned in accordance with the work specification.
• Verifying the integrity of provided data.
• Operating the Maintenace Control Software.
• Providing feedback to the Head of Maintenance (HOM) to ensure continuous improvement.
• Support the cleanliness, tidiness and upkeep of Maintenance facilities and equipment.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this role will have an unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B1 and B2 or B1 Licence, ideally holding King Air 200 or 300 type ratings, with recent demonstratable experience on both types. You’re an excellent team player and communicator, that can articulate your thoughts in a concise and polite manner. You must have good attention to detail and be able to work under pressure and to deadlines.

We are particularly looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience in at least one of the following:

• Experience of working in a remote Line Station environment, with a dedicated small team of engineers.
• Demonstratable experience on King Air 200 or 300.
• Experience of working with MRO software systems.
• Stores knowledge, preferably within aviation/aerospace with experience of working within a bonded store and tool store.
• Current Human Factors Training with proof of Initial Human Factors Training.
