As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Structures (AME), you will be responsible for performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers’ and company specification to a high standard. You will be working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.

You’ll have –

• Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Structures) or equivalent

• Previous sheet metal experience in a similar role

• Relevant Aircraft Maintenance trade experience – either on aircraft or in workshop

• Completed all documentation and reporting requirements to a high standard

• Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating shift roster

• Taken ownership and driven outcomes to meet business requirements

• Demonstrated ability to work safety and adhering to all safety and compliance procedures

• Thorough knowledge and understanding Aircraft Maintenance procedures

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

• Commitment to being customer focused with the flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required

• Highly developed attention to detail

• Australian Drivers licence

• Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical
