Our Line Maintenance team is expanding, and we have multiple opportunities to work within our Qantas Engineering team.  

Working within the Perth Engineering team, your position as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) will see you carrying out work in our Line Maintenance Department. As an AME, we will see you performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers’ and company specification to a high standard. You will be responsible for delivering safe, cost effective, quality maintenance products and services to the airline.

You’ll have –

• Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical or Avionics)

• Previous experience in a Line Maintenance environment is desirable

• Relevant Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical, or Avionics) trade experience

• Experience working on B737, A330 and/or B787 is desirable

• Have a proven commitment to aircraft maintenance quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives 

• Have proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle competing demands, particularly when under pressure and/or managing multiple stakeholders

• Compliance with all Qantas safe working practices and service standards

• Have excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively manage demanding schedules

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and independently

• Commitment to being customer focused with the flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required

• Highly developed attention to detail

• Ability to work shift work 

• An Australian Drivers licence

• Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical
