Our Aircraft Maintenance Engineering team is expanding, and we have multiple opportunities to work in a variety of areas including but not limited to the Mechanical, Structures and Avionics team.   

As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) you will be responsible for performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers’ and company specification to a high standard. You will be working with a range of specialist teams within our hangar environments, enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.

You’ll have –

• Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics)  

• Relevant Aircraft Maintenance trade experience (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics)  

• Extensive Aircraft servicing experience on various aircrafts in a maintenance environment (advantageous) 

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Aircraft Maintenance procedures 

• Commitment to all safe working practices and service standards 

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team 

• Commitment to being customer focused with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required 

• Highly developed attention to detail 

• Demonstrated high ethical/behaviour standards and self-discipline 

• Ability to work shift work
