Aircraft Component Technician

Aeropeople is seeking a full-time permanent Aircraft Component Technician for their Interiors, Communications & Navigation Division on behalf of one of their clients.

The candidate must be compliant with PCB electronic component fault diagnosis techniques down to the discreet component level. Some of the units repaired within the division are as follows:

• Avionic Equipment.
• Multi-Functional Touch Panels & Switch Boxes.
• In-flight entertainment accessories.
• Navigational Components & Flight Deck Instrumentation.
• Interior fluorescent & LED Lighting.
• Crew Headsets and Cabin Handsets.
• Automated External Defibrillators.
• Air Data Computers.

Job skills, experience, and qualifications:

The applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience within the Aviation industry is preferred but not essential as we may consider candidates from other industries with similar skills with the purpose to cross train into the aviation industry.
• Experience in engineering.
• Experience in electronics and PCB fault finding techniques.

Job Information:

• Starting salary will be subject to previous experience, industry relevance and position offered.
• 28 days PA Holiday starting entitlement (Includes bank holidays).

• Working hours 08:00 to 16:30 Mon-Fri with half hour lunch break.
