About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Test Pilot to evaluate aircraft performance, safety, and operational capabilities during development, certification, modification, and maintenance testing activities. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, flight test, and maintenance teams to ensure aircraft meet design and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, brief, and conduct flight test missions.

• Evaluate aircraft handling qualities, performance, systems, and operational capabilities.

• Collect, analyse, and document flight test data.

• Identify and report technical issues, anomalies, and safety concerns.

• Work with engineers to validate aircraft modifications and new systems.

• Prepare detailed flight test reports and recommendations.

• Participate in risk assessments and flight safety reviews.

• Support certification and regulatory compliance activities.

• Assist in developing flight test procedures and test plans.

• Mentor junior pilots and contribute to operational best practices.

Requirements

• Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).

• Graduate of a recognised Test Pilot School preferred.

• Significant flight experience across multiple aircraft types.

• Strong understanding of aerodynamics, aircraft systems, and flight testing methodologies.

• Experience in experimental, developmental, or certification flight testing.

• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to operate in high-pressure environments while maintaining strict safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field.

• Military test pilot experience.

• Experience with flight data acquisition systems.

• Knowledge of aviation certification standards and regulatory requirements.
