Deputy CAMO Manager

We are delighted to be supporting a well-established operator, air charter, and management service provider to source a Deputy CAMO Manager on a permanent basis based in the Mediterranean.

The successful candidate will deputise for the CAMO Nominated Postholder and must be capable of holding EASA Form 4 approval.

This is a key regulatory and operational role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with regulators, maintenance organisations and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:-

• The supervision of the maintenance activities performed by the contracted maintenance organizations
• The evaluation, recommendation, and instruction on the implementation of regulatory requirements and Manufacturers recommendations including support of the implementation phase
• Provide recommendations for aircraft and equipment modification programs and monitor their effectiveness
• The active involvement in the establishment, revision, and optimization of maintenance programs
• The tracking and evaluating reliability data of systems, structure, and components.
• Recommendation of appropriate corrective/mitigating actions
• The support systems, components and structures defect assessments and rectification

Minimum Skills and Experience:-

• Completed engineering or technical training in the field of mechanical engineering, preferably in aerospace or electrical engineering, or qualified as an aircraft mechanic or electrician with several years of professional experience.
• Extensive technical knowledge and several years of professional experience in the maintenance of aircraft in the maintenance area / overhaul area
• Knowledge of AMOS is a plus
• Knowledge of aircraft and maintenance documentation including aviation legislation EASA Part[1]CAMO
• Fluent written and spoken English is essential
