Systems Engineer III

MAG Aerospace is seeking a talented Systems Engineer III to join our team! The successful candidate will be supporting Product Manager Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems (PdM WESS), Satellite Terminal Systems (STS) office for the Configuration Management and Installation and Integration of all Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Recommend development or use of unique systems such as embedded computers in weapons or weapons-support systems, systems for complex scientific applications, simulation systems, communication systems, computer-aided engineering and design systems, and large-scale management information systems
• Participate in working groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to analyze and provide updates to technical program documentation
• Interface with DISA Gateway Office
• Assist PdM WESS Field Implementation Leads with Site Surveys, Documentation and Engineering Support
• Design Implementation Packages
• Analyze Army SATCOM facilities for Power, Floor Space, Switching Ports, Modems and all interfaces

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

• Proven experience in telecommunications system/network engineering and deployment 
• Proven experience working in a SATCOM environment
• Proven experience working in an acquisition environment
• Ability to work with a team or individually

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Desired Requirements

• An advance degree is a nice to have

Other Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
