JMC Aviation are working with a dynamic aviation organization offering a comprehensive suite of services, including training, aircraft operations, maintenance, and storage management solutions. With EASA approvals under Part-145, Part-147, and Part-CAMO company based in Malta, looking to recruit a new Compliance Monitoring & Safety Auditor to join their team.

This client is an up-and-coming CAMO organisation and provides services such as consultancy, compliance support and airworthiness support to maximise business efficiency will minimising costs.

This is a Permanent Position based in Malta.

The Role

The Compliance Monitoring & Safety Auditor will be instrumental in ensuring that operations comply with all applicable EASA regulations and internal procedures. This role involves conducting audits, facilitating safety investigations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our Compliance Monitoring System (CMS) and Safety Management System (SMS). The auditor will collaborate across departments to promote a culture of safety and compliance.

Other duties involve:

Audit Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement audit plans covering EASA Part-145, Part-147, and Part-CAMO scopes.

Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational procedures.

Perform audits of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory obligations.

Compliance Monitoring:

Monitor organizational activities to ensure ongoing compliance with EASA regulations, including Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014.

Identify non-conformities, perform root cause analyses, and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain up-to-date records of audit findings and corrective actions.

Safety Management:

Support the SMS by identifying hazards, assessing risks, and recommending mitigation strategies.

Participate in safety investigations and contribute to the development of safety performance indicators.

Promote a just culture by encouraging transparent reporting and open communication.

Training and Development:

Assist in the development and delivery of compliance and safety training programs.

Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices to inform training content.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.

Contribute to the revision of the documentation.

Ensure timely reporting to competent authorities as required.

Skills and experience required.

Right to live and work in The EU

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related field.

Alternatively, an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with supplementary education acceptable to the company and competent authority.

Professional Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auditor within aviation organizations, specifically involving EASA Part-145, Part-147, and/or Part-CAMO environments.

Proven experience in conducting audits and familiarity with compliance monitoring activities.

Certifications and Training:

Completed training in EASA Part-145, Part-147, and Part-CAMO regulations.

Training in Quality Audit Techniques (e.g., ISO 9001), Safety Management Systems, Human Factors, EWIS, and FTS.

Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies, such as the "5 Whys" or Fishbone Diagram.
