The Passenger Assistance and Passengers with Disabilities (PWD) course provides learners with the knowledge required to support passengers with disabilities and reduced mobility throughout the air travel journey. It focuses on safe handling procedures, correct application of assistance codes, and effective communication to ensure a respectful and accessible passenger experience.

Participants will develop an understanding of disability types, assistive services, mobility aids, and accessibility requirements within airport and aircraft environments. The course emphasises operational awareness, safety considerations, and clear coordination between airport staff, ground handlers, and flight crew to support safe and compliant passenger assistance.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

• Provide safe, respectful assistance to passengers with disabilities and reduced mobility
