Aviation Job Search and Aviation Action partner to provide support to aviation professionals

Aviation Job Search, the leading job board for the aviation industry, and Aviation Action, a mental health and support charity created by aviation people for aviation people, have partnered to support aviation individuals.

Launched by Chris Wild (Head of Airfield Operations at Manchester Airport) and a team of amazing industry colleagues in May 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Aviation Action was set up to support the people involved in aviation, from flight deck to firefighters and caterers to cabin crew.

The partnership will see Aviation Action offering support to aviation industry individuals who are faced with difficult times, both personally and professionally.

Aviation Action - “We are extremely excited to be working with Aviation Job Search who share our vision of ensuring every colleague in aviation has someone to turn to. Pooling our resources and efforts will ensure we continue to provide mental health support during and post pandemic”

If you’re looking for support, the charity offers:

  • Mental Health Support - a great team of volunteer therapists and councillors that offer up to three sessions for free.
  • Group Support - the peer support programme aims to increase your self-esteem, well being and confidence.
  • Professional Support - providing a range of professional services such as legal, HR, CV/interview and career coaching.
