Production Process Engineer

Aeropeople are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Printing Process Engineer to join their growing manufacturing operation in Lithuania.

This is a key technical role focused on ensuring the reliability and efficient operation of production equipment, process quality, loss elimination and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will work closely with production teams, supporting them with technical and process-related issues, standardising equipment settings and developing practical solutions to improve production efficiency and quality.

Previous professional experience in the printing industry is ESSENTIAL for this position. Candidates without printing industry experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve technical maintenance processes and daily working practices.

• Ensure consistent quality throughout the production process.

• Manage production equipment settings, documents and standardise them, and ensure that agreed standards are implemented.

• Identify and eliminate production losses and inefficiencies.

• Analyse technical and production problems and implement effective corrective actions.

• Support production teams with technical and process-related issues.

• Develop and train production line teams in manufacturing and technological processes.

• Train team members in structured problem-solving methods and encourage their use in day-to-day operations.

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, standards and production efficiency.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of standardised working practices.

• Work closely with production and technical teams to improve equipment performance, quality and overall process efficiency.

• Support a strong culture of continuous improvement and problem solving within the production environment.

• Promote safe working practices and contribute to maintaining workplace safety standards.

About You

We are looking for a technically minded and practical engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and working closely with production teams.

• Previous experience in a similar production, process or engineering role.

• Strong technical knowledge of electromechanics, pneumatics and automation.

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

• The ability to identify the root causes of technical and production issues and implement effective solutions.

• Experience training, supporting or developing production employees.

• The ability to read and understand technical drawings, diagrams and schematics.

• A proactive approach and the ability to quickly assess and respond to production issues.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• English language skills at B1–B2 level.

• Experience in the printing industry would be considered a significant advantage.
