About the Role:

In this temporary position, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring cable loom harnesses to exact specifications for a range of electrical applications. You will work from technical drawings and schematics to build reliable, high-quality assemblies that meet strict standards. Your contribution will directly support production timelines and ensure consistent electrical performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble cable loom harnesses according to technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Perform precise electrical wiring, routing, and bundling of cables and conductors
• Carry out crimping, cutting, stripping, and termination of wires using appropriate tools and techniques
• Install connectors, plugs, and other components onto harnesses to specified standards
• Inspect and test assembled harnesses for continuity, correct wiring, and overall quality
• Identify and correct wiring errors, defects, or non-conformities in assembled harnesses
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and handle materials and tools safely
• Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines in various locations in Switzerland

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in cable harness assembly and electrical wiring in a workshop or production environment
• Strong practical skills in crimping, stripping, and terminating wires with manual and/or semi-automatic tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
• Solid understanding of basic electrical principles and safe working practices
• Experience working as an electrician, electrical assembler, or similar hands-on electrical role
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in wiring and assembly tasks
• Flexibility to work in a temporary capacity across various locations in Switzerland
• Basic communication skills in English and/or a local language (German/French/Italian), as required by site

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with harness production for automotive, rail, industrial, or aerospace applications
• Familiarity with quality standards and documentation in electrical manufacturing environments
• Experience working in Swiss or European electrical manufacturing or assembly settings
• Ability to adapt quickly to different workshop setups and production teams

Qualifications:

• Completed apprenticeship or vocational training as an electrician, electrical assembler, or related discipline
• Relevant technical school or trade qualification in electrical engineering or similar field
• Additional certificates in crimping, harness assembly, or electrical safety are an advantage
