Composite Laminator

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare tools (cleaning and applying release agents) for pre-preg operations

• Perform kitting and lay-up of pre-preg materials in the correct sequence and orientation

• Apply vacuum bagging techniques and prepare breather bag material kits

• Conduct curing operations for pre-preg components using autoclaves, ovens, and vacuum systems following set procedures

• Monitor material shelf life and maintain traceability

• Follow all quality, safety, and process procedures to ensure compliance

• Attend daily team meetings to review targets, issues, and safety updates

• Identify and escalate production or quality issues promptly

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant manufacturing or engineering background preferred

• Experience with pre-preg carbon fibre lay-up and processing an advantage

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Understanding of material handling and curing processes beneficial
