C-295 Technical Inspector – Avionics

Take your military aircraft avionics expertise to an advanced maintenance operation in Al Ain.

MGCG is recruiting an experienced C-295 Technical Inspector – Avionics to join our client’s aviation maintenance team in the UAE. The successful candidate will conduct and oversee intermediate, organizational and depot-level maintenance, as well as back-shop operations, within their authorized trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and inspect authorized maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul activities on aircraft avionics systems and components.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with approved technical data, quality standards and safety procedures.
• Conduct pre-run, post-run, functional and operational inspections.
• Support aircraft-system and avionics-component fault diagnosis.
• Interpret OEM maintenance manuals, technical instructions, blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Complete maintenance documentation and provide accurate technical status reports.
• Perform applicable quality-control and Certificate of Conformity signatory duties.
• Support maintenance planning, task distribution and operational commitments.
• Provide on-the-job training and serve as a subject-matter expert within the avionics trade.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, quality and environmental procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Technical Engineering Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Avionics Engineering, or a Level 7 Certified Technician qualification.
• At least five years of aviation-industry experience, ideally within a military aircraft MRO facility.
• Strong knowledge of military or civil aircraft avionics-component repair and overhaul.
• Hands-on aircraft avionics maintenance, inspection, testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Previous quality-control or technical-inspection experience.
• Ability to interpret OEM maintenance manuals, technical instructions, blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Strong planning, communication, teamwork and supervisory capabilities.
• C-295 avionics maintenance experience is highly desirable.
• English-language proficiency appropriate for the position.
