C-295 Technical Inspector – Airframe & Powerplant

MGCG is recruiting an experienced C-295 Technical Inspector – Airframe & Powerplant to join our client’s aviation maintenance team in the UAE. This position requires recent, documented C-295 maintenance experience and strong inspection capabilities across aircraft airframe, powerplant and engine systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and inspect authorized maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting and repair activities on C-295 airframe and powerplant systems.
• Diagnose airframe, aircraft-system and engine discrepancies using approved technical data.
• Conduct pre-run, post-run, functional and operational inspections.
• Ensure completed maintenance meets all quality, safety and airworthiness requirements.
• Perform general and complex maintenance tasks on aircraft parts, systems and components.
• Interpret OEM manuals, technical instructions, blueprints, drawings and schematics.
• Complete all required maintenance documentation and provide clear technical status reports.
• Exercise applicable quality-control and Certificate of Conformity signatory authority.
• Support maintenance planning, daily task distribution and operational commitments.
• Provide on-the-job training and serve as a subject-matter expert within the trade.

Minimum Requirements

• Technical Engineering Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Avionics Engineering, or a Level 7 Certified Technician qualification.
• At least five years of aviation-maintenance experience, ideally within a military aircraft MRO facility.
• Documented C-295 maintenance experience within the relevant scope of authorization during at least six of the previous 24 months of active duty.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft airframe, powerplant and engine-component repair and overhaul.
• Current documented evidence of authorization and qualification as a C-295 engine operator from a previous employer.
• Qualified and experienced quality-control inspector with documented authorization.
• Aviation-maintenance experience in a technical role, preferably within base maintenance.
• Ability to interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical instructions, blueprints, drawings and schematics.
• English-language proficiency equivalent to IELTS Band 6.5.
• Strong troubleshooting, planning, teamwork and supervisory capabilities.
