Job Summary
Tuskegee University’s Aviation Science Program seeks a dedicated and experienced aviation educator to serve as an Associate/Assistant Professor/lnstructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching ground school courses and other aviation-related subjects, contributing to the development of future aviators and aviation professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
Earned MS (for instructor/assistant professor), PhD (for associate professor) in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Science, Business, Education or other area appropriate ta the courses to be taught. Active CFI , CFII , or Advanced Ground Instructor FAA certifications Additional Desirable Qualifications: At least two years of teaching experience of aviation courses at a college level or in a Part 141/61 flight school. Industry experience as a commercial pilot, airline transport pilot ( ATP ), or related aviation field. Experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes.
