Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a KC-46 Product & Services Quality Manager (K-Level) within the Mobility and Surveillance organization directly supporting our Boom Shop in Everett, WA!

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations

• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance

• Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

• May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies

• Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, government agencies, and direct reports

• Manages employees who are union and non-union representative

• Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership."

• More than 5 years of aerospace manufacturing

• More than 3 years of experience leading and influencing people in a Quality organization

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Active U.S Security Clearance

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

Shift:

This position is for 2nd shift, however, must have the ability to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays

Travel:

Up to 10% of the time

Summary pay range: USD $119,850 - $162,150

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
