First Officer (Co-Pilot)

Job Summary

The First Officer assists the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. The role involves supporting all phases of flight, complying with aviation regulations, performing pre-flight and post-flight duties, monitoring aircraft systems, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Captain during all phases of flight.
• Conduct pre-flight planning, aircraft inspections, and performance calculations.
• Monitor aircraft systems and navigation throughout the flight.
• Communicate effectively with Air Traffic Control (ATC).
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and aviation regulations.
• Support emergency procedures when required.
• Complete flight documentation and reports accurately.
• Maintain situational awareness and effective Crew Resource Management (CRM).
• Participate in recurrent training and simulator checks.
• Promote passenger safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), as required by the operator.
• Current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Instrument Rating (IR).
• Multi-Engine Rating (if applicable).
• Valid English Language Proficiency (ICAO Level 4 or above).
• Type Rating (preferred or required depending on aircraft).

Experience

• Flight hours as required by company or aviation authority.
• Previous airline or commercial flying experience is preferred.

• Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Domestic and international travel.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and safety-critical environment.
