We’re proud to offer the opportunity to join Jet2.com at all ranks, including Second Officer, First Officer, Senior First Officer & Captain!

If you would like to be considered to become a Jet2 Pilot on our either Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 fleets, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Minimum factorised hours per rank
  • Captain (Minimum 3,000 hours with 1,000 hours PIC on a medium-heavy commercial multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft)
  • Senior First Officer (Frozen/Unfrozen ATPL Min 2000 factorised hours, 500 hours Multi Crew/Multi Engine Jet or Turbo Prop on aircraft above 10T)
  • First Officer (Frozen/Unfrozen ATPL 500 hours Multi Crew/Multi Engine Jet or Turbo Prop on aircraft above 10T)
  • Second Officer (100 hours on a multi-engine aircraft & frozen ATPL or MPL)
• Current or Former Military Pilots are considered for all ranks 
• Valid UK Issued Pilots Licence
• Minimum English Language Proficiency Level 5
• Current Class One Medical

Jet2 is a Home Office–approved sponsor and we welcome applications from eligible candidates for a UK Skilled Worker visa who currently don't have the right to work in the UK. Eligibility criteria will be discussed with you during the application process.

If you do not currently meet the requirements listed above, you may wish to consider our Jet2FlightPath programme for cadets or Future Second Officer programme for those holding a Frozen ATPL.
