A&P Mechanic

Position Summary

The Technician is responsible for performing assigned maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks in support of repair station operations. All work is performed during the weekend shift under the direction of supervision and in accordance with applicable maintenance data, Repair Station procedures, and customer requirements.

This position is a non-certificated, non-supervisory role and does not include inspection authority or authorization to approve articles for return to service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assigned maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks in accordance with:
  • Applicable maintenance manuals
  • Repair Station procedures
  • Customer requirements
• Execute maintenance tasks in the proper sequence as specified by applicable maintenance data
• Coordinate with supervision to ensure inspections are requested in an orderly and timely manner
• Verify that test equipment and tools used to support maintenance tasks are properly identified and labeled in accordance with Repair Station procedures prior to use
• Request parts and materials as required to support assigned work
• Support safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance operations during the weekend shift

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience performing aircraft maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alteration tasks
• Possess the knowledge, training, and/or experience required to perform assigned duties
• Certification under 14 CFR Part 65 is not required for this position
• This position is not listed on the Repair Station Roster

Role Limitations

• This position does not include:
  • Management or supervisory responsibilities
  • Inspection authority
  • Authorization to approve articles for return to service

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and FAA regulations applicable to assigned duties
• Work under the supervision of the assigned Area Supervisor
