CNC Machinist / Polymechanic

We are currently looking for experienced CNC Machinists / Polymechanics to join an aircraft manufacturing project in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Portatec BZ 37-12 CNC machining centres
• Operate Chiron MPS-08 profile machining equipment
• Manufacture small batches of aluminium aircraft components
• Identify and troubleshoot machine or equipment issues
• Ensure manufactured parts meet the required quality standards
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and manufacturing processes
• Carry out machine cleaning and scheduled weekly maintenance
• Support the sheet-metal storage area when required, including stock movements and inventory activities

Candidate Requirements

• Technical training or relevant experience as a Production Mechanic, Machine Mechanic, CNC Mechanic, Polymechanic or similar
• Previous experience operating CNC machining equipment
• Strong technical understanding and practical mechanical skills
• Ability to work accurately and independently with a strong focus on quality
• Knowledge of MS Office and SAP would be an advantage
• Reliable and team-oriented approach
• German language skills are strongly preferred, as technical documentation and team communication are mainly in Germ

Conditions 

• Temporary project
• Based in Switzerland
• Availability to work a two-shift system
• Travel costs are provided
