GATE Europe is looking for a CNC Machine operator in aerospace industry
In this department, parts are manufactured from sheet material by means of various techniques, such as rolling, stretching, machining and milling. The parts are assembled in another department to form a complete aircraft part, such as a tailpiece, wing part or fuselage part. Your are responsible for the execution of various machining activities on aluminum parts. You make these parts suitable for assembly on the basis of drawings and work instructions. This is a complex and, above all, accurate process, because in the aircraft industry we work with very small deviation percentages. Every product has to roll off the machine perfectly. Your duties and responsibilities:• Correct clamping of the products• Setting up and adjusting the production process• Checking the work performed and recording the results• Taking care of administration and production documentation• Reading work preparation data and adjusting / supplementing it• Carrying out the daily maintenance of the machines• Keeping the workplace clean
The job requirements• You have a completed technical vocational education• You have an affinity with aircraft technology• You have demonstrable work experience in technology, for example in the direction of automotive technology, metalworking and/or sheet metal work• Knowledge of and/or experience with milling, rolling, stretching, machining and/or heat treatment techniques is a plus• You have experience with operating NC-controlled machines with complex controls (including Siemens)• You are proactive, have a positive work attitude and are socially skilled
• You have a high sense of responsibility for the quality of your work• You work accurately and have an eye for detail• Basic knowledge of the (technical) English language.• Experience with computers and MS Office programs (Excel, Word)
