Assistant Airport Manager

Description

Under the direction of the Airport Manager, the Assistant Airport Manager will assist with the daily operations of the airport, support pilots and tenants, coordinate operational activities, and help maintain a safe and professional airport environment.

Examples of Duties

•Assist with daily airport operations and facility oversight. 
•Provide excellent customer service to pilots, tenants, and visitors. 
•Learn and assist with aircraft fueling operations and safety procedures. 
•Support airport inspections, maintenance coordination, and operational readiness. 
•Respond to after-hours and emergency situations as needed. 
•Perform administrative and operational duties as assigned.
•Must be security minded 

Typical Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Strong customer service and communication skills. 
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently. 
• Willingness to learn airport and aviation operations. 
• Valid driver’s license required. 
• Aviation or operational experience preferred but not required.
