Project Accountant

Arden White is recruiting for a Project Accountant (Project Finance) on behalf of a leading aviation organisation based near Oxford Airport. This role would suit a Project Accountant, Programme Accountant, Finance Business Partner, or Project Finance professional looking to support complex aviation and defence-related programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Project financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting
• Contract reviews and monthly Estimate at Completion (EAC) updates
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities
• Monitor programme costs, labour bookings and financial performance
• Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements
• Provide financial insight and challenge to programme delivery teams
• Maintain financial data and reporting within SAP

Requirements

• Professionally qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in project accounting, project finance, programme finance, financial controlling, or finance business partnering
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Additional Information

• Salary up to £65,000
• Based near Oxford Airport
• On-site working, up to 5 days per week
• 37.5-hour working week
• Must be eligible to obtain SC Clearance
