Inventory Data Analyst - Gloucester - 12-month Contract
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Inventory Data Analyst to join our Aerospace client in Gloucester on a 12-month contract. As the Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for assembling and analyzing supply chain data to identify operational gaps and develop recommendations for continuous improvement efforts in logistics, procurement, inventory, and planning.
Responsibilities: * Control site inventory and develop inventory adjustment procedures. * Produce daily, weekly, and monthly inventory KPI's to track operational performance. * Conduct weekly cycle counts and update the cycle count procedure. * Investigate inventory differences and report findings to management. * Improve inventory-related processes and procedures. * Collaborate with other departments on inventory-related matters. * Reduce expired and obsolete inventory and overall inventory levels. * Resolve inventory-related system errors and work with projects to develop new systems. * Support colleagues in investigating Non-Conformance reports.
Experience: * Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management preferred, but related Degree/Diploma with certification in Supply Chain Management may be substituted. * Minimum 5 years' experience in a complex production and planning environment preferred. * Minimum 5 years' combined experience with data analysis and process improvement preferred. * Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred. * Experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred. * Knowledge of logistics and production planning concepts; experience in various supply chain roles and functions an asset. * Project management experience and skills an asset. * Excellent knowledge of ERP MRP II environments, with specific competency in inventory management and production control. * Experience working with SAP desirable. * Expert-level skills with databases and spreadsheets. * Strong critical/creative thinking and problem-solving skills. * Ability to document processes in a clear manner. * Excellent attention to detail. * Excellent prioritization and time management skills; ability to manage competing priorities in a constantly changing environment. * Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines. * Demonstrated capability to manage projects and achieve results in a self-driven manner by utilizing a data-driven, analytical, and detail-oriented approach.
