Air Hostess (Cabin Crew)

Job Summary

The Air Hostess is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of passengers throughout the flight. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, conducting safety procedures, responding to emergencies, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism while representing the airline.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome passengers onboard and assist them with boarding and seating.
• Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the aircraft cabin is ready for departure.
• Demonstrate safety procedures and emergency equipment to passengers.
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations and airline procedures.
• Serve meals, beverages, and other onboard services.
• Assist passengers with special needs, including children, elderly travellers, and passengers requiring additional support.
• Monitor the cabin throughout the flight to ensure passenger comfort and safety.
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical situations and onboard emergencies.
• Handle passenger enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Complete post-flight reports and document any incidents or irregularities.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the airline's service standards.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree is an advantage).
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
• Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally.
• Meet airline requirements for height, reach, and medical fitness.
• Cabin Crew certification or prior airline experience is preferred (where applicable).

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, or aviation is preferred.
• Prior experience as Cabin Crew is an advantage but may not be required for entry-level positions.

Working Conditions

• Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Domestic and international travel.
• Extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting cabin baggage.
• Must comply with all airline safety, security, grooming, and operational standards.
