CFRP Structural Technician

First People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced CFRP Structural Technicians for their client based in Germany. 

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of CFRP structural components in line with technical drawings, work instructions and aerospace standards. You will work across composite processing, structural bonding, drilling, riveting and fastening, as well as creating and adapting jigs, fixtures and tooling to support production.

Quality and precision are key, with responsibility for inspecting completed components, maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring all work is carried out in a clean, safe and controlled environment. You will work closely with Engineering and Quality teams.

About You

You will ideally have a relevant qualification such as Aircraft Composite Mechanic, Manufacturing Technician, or a similar technical discipline, together with previous experience in structural assembly or manufacturing, preferably within aerospace.

Strong experience working with CFRP / composite materials is essential, along with the ability to confidently interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation. Experience with tooling and jigs would be advantageous, while knowledge of metalworking or 3D printing would also be beneficial.

We are looking for someone with excellent practical skills, a strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality and cleanliness. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to travel occasionally for campaign assignments.

Fluent English is required.
