Volantes Technical Recruitment are looking for an experienced Technical Services Engineer to support the continued airworthiness and reliability of a fleet of aircraft. The role involves managing aircraft systems, maintenance programmes, and technical projects while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve the reliability of aircraft engines, APUs, landing gear, avionics, and aircraft systems.
• Review and assess Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and manufacturer documentation.
• Coordinate engine, landing gear, and component repairs, overhauls, and modifications with maintenance providers.
• Support the management and development of Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMP).
• Analyse technical data, defects, and reliability trends, recommending maintenance improvements where required.
• Liaise with OEMs, maintenance organisations, and aviation authorities to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure maintenance records remain accurate and up to date.
• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and operational issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, or a related discipline.
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Licence or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in aircraft engineering or technical services.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance programmes and aviation regulations.
• Experience with aviation maintenance software (such as FMIS, Envision, or similar) is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) and connectivity systems is highly desirable.

Aircraft type experience on one or more of the following:

• Boeing types
• Gulfstream types
