Aircraft Maintenance, Shop Manager

Location: North Platte, NE 69101

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: DOE (Depends on Experience)

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday. Possible on-call for AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support after hours.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Piston Shop Manager leads the day-to-day operation of the Piston Shop, ensuring every project moves through on schedule, on budget, and in full compliance with FAA regulations. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will guide a team of A&P mechanics, keep work orders and customer communication on track, and remove the barriers that slow a shop down.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of aircraft maintenance processes, and the ability to hold a team accountable while keeping the shop productive and safe. If you take ownership of outcomes, communicate clearly across departments, and know how to keep a maintenance operation moving, we want to hear from you.
