Morson Edge is recruiting Aircraft Electrical Fitters to support a major rotary-wing maintenance programme across the UK Military Flying Training System (MFTS).
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced aircraft electrical and avionic technicians to join a highly skilled engineering team supporting the H135 and H145 helicopter fleet, which plays a vital role in training the next generation of UK military aircrew.
Working within a professional rotary aviation environment, you will support Line and Base Maintenance activities, carrying out electrical and avionic maintenance within a structured, safety-focused engineering environment.
This is a non-certifying role, making it ideal for experienced aircraft technicians looking to continue hands-on maintenance on modern rotary aircraft.

As an Aircraft Electrical Fitter, you will assist with the maintenance, movement, and operational support of the H135/H145 fleet.
You will carry out electrical and avionic maintenance activities in accordance with approved technical documentation and OEM instructions, supporting aircraft safety, availability, and continued flying operations.
The role provides a varied workload covering aircraft maintenance, system testing, workshop activities, and hangar support.
Provide engineering support to Flight Operations
Carry out maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Supervisors and Certifying Engineers
Complete maintenance on aircraft electrical and avionic systems
Carry out fault diagnosis, testing, and rectification activities
Work in accordance with OEM instructions and approved maintenance data
Conduct off-aircraft technical work within workshops when required
Assist with aircraft movement and daily hangar operations
Support aircraft serviceability and operational readiness
Follow approved technical publications and maintenance procedures
Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
Ensure compliance within a regulated aviation environment
Support housekeeping and safe working practices
Aircraft Maintenance Apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification
Experience within Aircraft Base Maintenance
Experience supporting Flight Operations and Line Maintenance
Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionic systems
Experience using specialist electrical and avionic test equipment
Ability to work within a regulated aviation environment
H135 / H145 experience
Rotary-wing aircraft maintenance background
Military aviation experience
Knowledge of UK Military Flying Training System operations
Understanding of CAA Part 145 and Part M regulations
UK MFTS rotary aircraft support programme
H135 and H145 helicopter fleet
Electrical and avionic maintenance environment
Line and Base Maintenance activities
Professional military aviation setting
